The “Grandsons of Abraham” is a church based Rescue Centre started in 1995. It was started with the aim of rescuing children from the streets of Mombasa for rehabilitation and then resettle them back with their families or relatives.

Our Policy
The policy is to work for children spending more than 12 hours daily on the streets of Mombasa.

The child is welcomed to the centre with the understanding that he will finally be joined by his family or relatives. All children regardless of religion or sex who fit the protocol are welcomed for assistance.

Our Objectives
The Centre tries to reunite the children with their families or relatives reduce the number of children on the streets of Mombasa.
- Promote children's' rights.
- Discourage social evils.
- Increase child responsibility and image of life.
- Increase community participation and
   contribution in supporting Children's'  causes.
